It contains over 10% of all the periodicals presently being published in China. It has purchased the Kazan (R) Library, the Takemura (|) Library, the Kansai (ԍ) Library, and the Toa Dobun Shoin (@) reports which are all well known to scholars. The library contains the basic documents of a library of social science, and with a special budget every year it purchases the National Reporter System, German Company History, Hansard's Parliamentary Debates, all the publications of the OECD, and the Goldsmith Kress Library of Economic Literature.
